Over the Rainbow
Throughout our ‘Over the Rainbow’ Topic, the children have explored many exciting activities. We have read a range of books including ‘Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?’, which we learnt and performed using our story map and actions to help. We also became scientists for part of the morning, investigating what would happen to the skittles if we put hot water on them. The children made many fantastic predictions, and they loved watching the changes to see if they were right! As well as exploring the colours of the rainbow, the children have been busy using their creative skills to create art inspired by Kandinsky and Jackson Pollock. Their favourite part was getting to make some brilliant splatter paintings, where the paint went flying everywhere!
