The children have thoroughly enjoyed their first topic of the year! We have read books written by Julia Donaldson, and we have used story maps, props and puppets to practise retelling parts of the stories. We went on a mini adventure on our nature trail to find the characters from ‘The Gruffalo’ and found plenty of insects along the way!
