This week, in Year 2 we have been making puppets out of felt.  First of all, we practised threading a needle and doing the running stitch.  Then, when we were ready, we used a template to get the shape of a wolf and drew around it.  Once it was cut out, we carefully sewed our two felt pieces together using the running stitch.  We had to make sure that our stitches were close together so that our puppet would not have any gaps in it.  Keep an eye out for the post next week, where we will be decorating our puppets with scary features.
